The definition of ‘Troubadour’ reads: “A class of lyric-poet/ musician who seeks to inspire and entertain. There are no two qualities that better describe the artistry of M.A. Roddick.  At times witty and humorous- Steve Martin meets John Prine, at others heartbreaking and introspective- Leonard Cohen meets Towns Van Zandt.  Regardless of the emotional vein- happy or sad- M.A. Roddick (Andy for short) has the ability to distill it down to the most basic elements of the human condition.  And he does it in real time, on a stage, with a guitar and a voice.  M.A. Roddick is a modern day troubadour.
