The Retreats Bio

The Retreats began as a way to cope with the struggles of the day to day—as a means of retreating from the world for a bit to find comfort in the hum and rattle of rock and roll. Influenced by everyone from Gram Parsons to Neil Young, they have spent the last few years discovering they too can make noise that isn’t immediately assaulting to the ear.

​Eventually, The Retreats took their act from the living room to stages around middle Tennessee and, what started as four friends having an excuse to hang out, has evolved with the similar principles in mind: show up, make noise, and forget the world for a while.
